Disaster is a Famous name in this current scenario People always talk but how we should be aware about this no one takes care for this every disaster has a hidden reason we know but than also we take it easy because we say ( jab hum tak aayega to hum dekh lenge ) Means what ?

Disaster types are Many But many of us talk only about Natural Disaster  such as flood earthquake sunami  etc  the reason behind this is very amazing we know we are using natural resources More but reproduction of  the Natural Resources is less The imbalance create Disaster.

On the other side our Life style is changing day by day more or less each and every person is in sorrow pain, Tension, pressure etc. This is nothing but Human Disaster. so  listen to the audio and get a new way to make a positive change in life.

Brahma Kumaris Proposal for serving draught affected farmers in Beed, Usmanabad and Latur districts of Maharashtra state to reduce farmer suicides has been accepted by Canara Bank and has assisted Brahma Kumaris under CSR for procurement of Ambulance to provide on the spot medical facility “Clinic on Wheels” to drought affected farmers.

Chennai Flood Relief

As we all know that the 2015 South Indian floods resulted from heavy rainfall during the annual northeast monsoon in November–December 2015 has hardly hit Tamil Nadu and the city of Chennai particularly where more than 500 people have died and over 1.8 million people have been displaced. Under such a crisis, Brahmakumaris 

Disaster Management Team has come to the rescue of those who have lost their homes and have no place to go. Since last 1 week, we hare providing temporary shelter, food, water and medical aid to flood affected people in areas like Anna Nagar, Adyar, Ashok Nagar.Mambalam,Medavakkam,Saidapet,Jafferkhanpet, Ekaduthangal, K.K. Nagar, MGR Nagar ,T Nagar ,CIT Nagar, Seevaram, Elango Nagar and Ambal Nagar in Chennai.

We are thankful to all those who have come forward to help flood affected people in Chennai. As on today, there is urgent need for medicines, the list of which is attached herewith. Those of you who wish to help can directly call our co-ordiantors in Chennai :

Nepal Earthquake Relief

The April 2015 Nepal earthquake (also known as the Gorkha earthquake) killed over 9,000 people and injured more than 23,000. It occurred at 11:56 Nepal Standard Time on 25 April, with a magnitude of 7.8M or 8. 1M It was the worst natural disaster to strike Nepal since the 1934 Nepal–Bihar earthquake. Hundreds of thousands of people were made homeless with entire villages flattened, across many districts of the country. Centuries-old buildings were destroyed at UNESCO World Heritage sites in the Kathmandu Valley.

Visit of two Senior brothers BK Karuna Bhai Shab and BK Dr. Pratap Midha Shab from July 7 to 12 July 2015.

During their visit they, along senior sister, senior brother of Kathmandu Centre had useful meeting with Hon’ble Vice President Mr. Parmanda Jha, His Excellency Mr. Ranjit Rae Ambassador of India for Nepal and Hon’ble Health Minister Mr. Kharaj Raj Adhikari and other dignitaries and senior BKs.

They visited some of the areas around Kathmandu valley which included some of buildings, schools and world heritage monuments and temples devastated by recent earthquake. They also had useful talks on and about the possibilities of helping building earthquake devastated school, helping disabled students and hospital for them.

They also visited Pokhara during their stay here.  Some service photos are attached herewith.
